Superkids Trinity-NKF Haemodialysis Centre in Alor Star offers subsidized and sometimes free treatment for kidney patients with acute renal failure. Presently there are thirteen machines and thirty-two patients of all race and religion, manned by trained nurses provided by the National Kidney Foundation. The Foundation will open its second haemodialysis centre in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur with a maximum capacity of twelve machines and it is scheduled to open by the end of 2008.
